announced on August 6, 1999, is in the process of acquiring the rights and
assets of the Worldwide Broadcast Network including its various domain
properties. Predator Ventures is pleased to announce that High Tech Venture
Capital Inc., on behalf of the Worldwide Broadcast Network
("wwbroadcast.net"), and Interactive Netcasting Systems ("INSINC"), a private Canadian
company based in Burnaby, BC, have entered into a Strategic Alliance
Agreement for the purpose of developing new business opportunities. Under the
terms of the Agreement, INSINC will assist wwbroadcast.net with the
aggregation and categorization of streaming-media content on the
Web, and in turn, will be a preferred partner for the delivery of audio
and video (streaming-media) services via the Internet.
INSINC is
widely considered to be a leader in streaming-media technology. INSINC is
at the forefront of broadcasting live and archived audio and video on
the Internet in association with its two content providers DENtv.com and
DENradio.com. INSINC provides streaming-media services for clients
such as Rogers Communications, CBS, CTV, YTV, Ericsson, Government of
Canada, Price Waterhouse Coopers, Canadian Music Awards (Junos), and the
Banff Television Festival.
