INSINC to Webcast LIVE the 2009 Junior League Canadian Baseball Championships
Burnaby, BC, and Langley, BC – Interactive Netcasting Systems Inc. (INSINC) today announced that the Company will be providing webcast services for the 2009 Junior Canadian Baseball Championships being held August 6th through August 12th at McLeod Athletic Park in Langley, BC. The winners will advance to the Junior League World Series held in Taylor, Michigan.
Broadband webcasts will start on opening night of Championship round robin play, concluding with the Final Game on August 12th. All nineteen games will be made available via a FREE webcast service located at http://2009jrcanadians.langleybaseball.ca/webcast.asp with teams competing from BC, the Prairies, Ontario, the Atlantic Provinces and Quebec.
The 2009 Junior Canadian Championships are being hosted by the Langley Baseball Association. Initial discussions between the Association and INSINC considered offering the series on a pay-per-view (PPV) basis, but the costs to deliver the games were reduced by the association organizing volunteer camera operators and commentators. INSINC provided the onsite encoding unit to capture the video signal as well as the network services to deliver the games to Junior baseball fans across the country.
