The company also has broadcast, Internet, and print media
divisions.
The
Challenge:
Maximizing public and investor awareness of the 2001 Annual
General Meeting, and turning the AGM into a year-round investor
relations tool.
The
INSINC Solution:
A live netcast of the AGM. The footage was then archived
for access on demand by visitors to the Investor Relations
section of the Rogers website.
The
Result:
The netcast drew an overwhelming response after only two
days of advertising, and the archived footage remains one
of the most popular features of the company's website. Rogers
plans to netcast the AGM every year. Says company spokesperson
Alison Bindner, "For the public, it's the next best
thing to being there with the CEO and executives. They can
hear a direct voice."
